Reviving service: A vision for a stronger roofing industry

Reviving service: A vision for a stronger roofing industry

ServiceCon 2025 served as a revival, a roadmap and a reminder that service is the real foundation of business growth.

At ServiceCon 2025, attendees weren’t just learning and networking — they were planning their next moves for the year to come. Will Riley, CEO of Centerpoint Connect and the driving force behind the event’s revival, set the tone early: real success comes from prioritizing service over sales.

“I think it's this underlying desire to try to help raise the floor in the industry,” Will said during a live interview at the event. His focus? Building a culture where long-term client relationships come first and business growth follows naturally.

Originally launched in 2023, ServiceCon could have quietly disappeared when its founders stepped back. Instead, Will picked up the torch. “This thing has to be revived,” he said. Working alongside a network of sponsors and industry contributors, he reimagined the event to emphasize action over theory.

One standout feature? Every attendee received a detailed workbook designed to translate ideas into real-world action. Will explained, “You'll see in these notebooks too there's key takeaways, there's things I like, things I don't like, impact on my business, action steps.”

Another major message throughout the sessions: you don't need everything figured out to start making a difference. “Start smaller,” Will advised contractors. “Get the small wins to demonstrate success along the way.”

The packed rooms, nonstop notetaking and energy around the conference made it clear — ServiceCon 2025 wasn’t just another industry event. It was a reminder that giving back, staying consistent and building community are the real growth strategies.

As Will put it, “If you take care of clients, the money part’s automatic.”
