Friday, March 27, 2020

It's been a very business as UN-usual the past two weeks! Companies and employees across the country are making difficult decisions about how to maneuver in a very different landscape.

We know you are getting inundated with emails regarding COVID-19 resources, information, guidance, etc. Instead of emailing you frequently we will endeavor to keep the COVID-19 Resource & Information page on the KRA website as up-to-date as possible.

KRA staff and leadership have had verbal and written discussions with Governor Kelly's office as well as various Kansas and Missouri municipalities to verify and ensure that roofing contractors can continue to work through the various "Safe at Home" orders. Without exception, to this point, roofing is being considered an "essential service" or "essential business".

View KRA President John Daly's letter to Governor Kelly.here.

We know that with members and connections in all areas of the state and beyond that you may be experiencing something totally different than companies in other locations. If you have questions, need additional information, are searching for clarification or want to pass along any experiences that you're having in your particular location, let us know. Any board member (contact info below) will be happy to visit with you or you can call or email the KRA office.

If you are are out working, whether on a job site or inside, we encourage you to follow guidance from public health officials and government agencies so that you and your associates can remain safe and well - allowing everyone to be at their very best when "normal" returns!
