The local school district is all up in arms about needed MO $.....They tried to raise property taxes...citizens said that was a no-go...Now, they've laid-off some teachers to teach us a lesson.

The school district has became an inefficient, bureaucratic mess, as most all gov't agencies....Supervisor makes $180,000 salary w/bonus, plus perks, bennies.....There are many-many "positions" that were never necessary in years past...But they lay-off teachers?

My 10 yr old endures a full hour EVERYDAY of spanish....WTH for?

FACT; In this public school system, my 4th grader has yet to experience grammer equivilent to what he received in 1st grade, attending a montesori school.

My 6 yr old must learn the same subject matter in english, then spanish..affording her 1/2 the education of yester-year.

Hmmmm....Why not get rid of all the unecessary admn positions & cut the foreign language,(spanish) crap....in elemenry school? That would tuly save a big chunk.
