Recently I was on hail claim that was denied twice by State Farms adjusters, a few weeks went by and I was contacted by the homeowner stating she had a guy in the neighborhood going door to door and stated he was a public adjuster and had her sign a contract with his public adjusting company to perform the inspection. The adjuster then approved the siding claim and wrote up a contract to do the siding with his other contracting company. The only way I found this out was I was contacted by the homeowner and she emailed me the agreement and the proposal with the siding company I then noticed the public adjuster and the contractor had the same number and address. HOW IS THIS POSSIBLE? Please explain

Isn't that is illegal in Texas and some other hail states now?

That happens here too, although we don't have regular hail storms. We did have a big storm in '09 and the roofing market has been forever changed, probably the insurance market as well.

Under the table or in plain sight, the money has got to be moving.
