Krooky The Roofing Dog

Thank you to Omar Orellana and his roofing crew in Frisco, Texas for sending us this photo. Krooky the dog has been doing roofing with them since he was one year old. Every morning he is the first one inside the truck to go to work. Krooky is one loyal dog!

I had a best roofers dog contest once. I should do that again. Or I could save myself the effort and just give the prize to Krooky.

I had beagle, ("Louie")....We were building a garage in my back yard and he just climbed right up the ladder and ran around on the roof....Had to carry him down the ladder though.....

I had a black lab climb up on a job once. He fell about 10 times all told, but he was up and down all day long. The roof was about 10/12. I taught the wifes dog to climb, but I have to carry him down, so I quit letting him up. Besides him being as heavy as a bundle of shingles, wife said she would use a bat and match any broken bones he gets, and even break a few more before shooting me.
