Good Job catching yourself before you hit the drywall! I do alot of wood shake conversions and have done that soooo many times! As long as You dont go thur Its all good! But for some strange reason I have gotten real good at patching and matching a lid!

I covered a hole with plywood before leaving for the night. First thing the next day I lifted it off (didn't want anyone to fall thru the hole) turned and immediately stepped on the felt covering the hole. It held me for the split second it took to say "Oh &%^$!" Went thru the attic and ceiling and hit the kitchen table (broke it) where the MRS. of the house had been having coffee 10 minutes before. Dazed and confused, I still had to get up and let the guys in to clean up before she returned from an errand. ALWAYS PUT THE NEW PLYWOOD ON IF YOU TAKE IT OFF!

Seen that. It reminds me of a story. We were roofing town homes with fire retard-ant plywood. If you know anything about this stuff it turns to dust after a few years. 'm having a conversation with my supervisor. Staring him right in the eyes. One second he is there, next he is sitting on the sofa in the living room dazed. B) :woohoo: :woohoo: B)
