I got a new/old jump shear made in 1901. Was in rough shape when we got it but looks and works like new now We ran 300 pieces of .032 alum through it and it was perfect we added this home made gauge to our brake to speed up the bending process. We have 11,000 ft of .032 drip edge to make. We did 3000 ft in 4 hours complete.

Nice.

If that's not the one that was in our old shop, I can't tell it from here. I doubt those things tend to move long distances in the buy/sell process. Did I grab those handles and jump on that bar many times as a young'un making drips with dad? Who knows?... could be.

Cool :)

The color choice is a pexto color scheme. Yes all moving and dangerous parts are panted yellow for safety. We also put danger stickers along the blade line. They did not want to spring for a fancy newer model in the $15000.00 price range so we opted for the $4000.00 older model. Works like it did new, just no power option. The shear is not a pexto but made by George Ohl Co.Newark New Jersey in 1901. They sure knew how to build them. It will still be working after we are all dead.
