OLE Willie

Well, the holidays have ended yet again and it's time to get back on the roof.

Fixing one chimney tomorrow on a newer home by reflashing it and tearing down another on a 100 yr. old house wednesday. Talk about diversity.

It's been a wild three day weekend. Well, two and a half of it anyways.

Just sat out on the porch this evening and watched it get dark.

Poor ole Willie! Oh well someone's gotta do it, right?

OLE Willie

I get a few little baby cuts once in a while but nothing serious yet. Knock on wood.

Got er' done!

Seven hours. Dang I'm gettin' slow in my old age!

Heat got to me too in the last 2 hours.

OLE Willie

Here's the really old one thats no longer in use and going to be torn down. The bricks and grout failed long ago and then somebody smeared quickcrete mix all over it and now that has gone bad.

The other one is just a normal looking brick chimney with good brick, grout and a nice cap already on it.
