Dignity Act: The Dignity Act (H.R. 4393), backed by the NRCA, pairs stronger border security with immigration reforms to address severe workforce shortages in industries like roofing. It provides long-term undocumented individuals a path to lawful status through work, service or education, while expanding training for U.S. workers. With labor shortages costing billions annually, the NRCA emphasizes that immigration reform is vital to sustaining the roofing workforce and urges contractors to stay engaged, advocate and ensure compliance.
