Midwest Roofing Contractors Association (MRCA)

The Midwest Roofing Contractors Association (MRCA) is an association of roofing contractors that have joined together to develop and administer programs and services that help member companies build their businesses and save them money while continually working to improve the roofing industry.

MRCA represents the needs of the contractor to manufacturers, consultants and other regulatory agencies.

While MRCA consists primarily of roofing contractor members, those in the supplier segments are allowed to join as Associate members.

Our new leadership summit

MRCA is excited to introduce our all-new conference experience — the Leadership Summit — designed to bring together industry leaders in a more engaging, forward-thinking environment.

MRCA describes the Summit as a more focused experience built around strategic learning, professional growth and meaningful peer-to-peer connections. The educational program covers subjects that directly affect roofing businesses, including economic trends, business growth, leadership strategy, AI and cybersecurity.

There is also a tabletop showcase rather than a traditional large-scale expo floor, giving attendees the opportunity to discover products, services and innovations from manufacturers and suppliers. For exhibitors, MRCA specifically emphasizes access to business owners, upper management and key decision-makers in a more personal setting.

MRCA 2026 Foundation Scholarship Application

MRCA Foundation Scholarship Program
Applicants must be an undergraduate or graduate student enrolled in a trade school, college, or university, or a high school senior provisionally accepted at an educational institution and expressing intent to pursue a degree or certified trade program with at least a 3.0 GPA or B Average equivalent.

APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS
Applicants must submit the following to be considered for a scholarship award:
1. A fully-completed application form
2. Proof of being associated with an active MRCA member company
3. A written statement from the educational institution where the construction-related undergraduate or graduate work will be undertaken indicating provisional acceptance of the student at the institution.
4. Official transcripts from current high school or educational institution showing at least a 3.0 GPA
5. Two letters of recommendation submitted by persons at least 18 years of age who are not related to the candidate. Only one letter of recommendation may come from a Director of MRCA, however, none may come from a Director of the MRCA Foundation.
6. A typed essay of no more than one page explaining why the applicant is interested in pursuing a degree in their field of study and any steps that have been taken to pursue this goal including relevant honors, activities, or employment. If it is determined that AI was used to create your essay, you will automatically be disqualified.
