2026 Building of the Year Awards

The NFBA Building of the Year Awards consists of 10 categories plus a Judges’ Award. The Building of the Year Awards allows builder member companies of comparable size to compete against each other. Each of the 10 award categories has three divisions:

• Experts: Builders who have an estimated $0-3 million in annual gross volume.
• Masters: Builders who have an estimated $3-6 million in annual gross volume.
• Premier: Builders who have an estimated $6+ million in annual gross volume.

• Barndominiums
• Commercial Retail
• Commercial Business / Industrial
• Hobby Shops
• Horse Barns
• Institutional / Public Non-Profit Buildings
• Residential Homes
• Retrofitted / Remodeled Buildings
• Suburban Garages
