2026 NFBA Foundation Scholarship Application
The NFBA Foundation is proud to announce the launch of its Mid-Year Scholarship Program—a new initiative designed to support the next generation of leaders in the post-frame industry.
Through this program, the NFBA Foundation will award $2,000 scholarships to students who are current employees of NFBA member companies or family members of NFBA member company employees.
Scholarships may be used for tuition and educational expenses at accredited colleges, universities, technical institutes or trade schools. We encourage you to share this opportunity with your employees and their families.
Eligibility will be based on the following criteria:
- Applicant must either be an employee of a current NFBA member company, or they must be related to or under legal guardianship of a current NFBA member company employee.
- Applicant must be currently enrolled or preparing to enroll in undergraduate study at an accredited college, university, technical institute or trade school.
Scholarship(s) will be awarded based on the following criteria:
- Applicant submits a completed application form
- Applicant's field of study could be considered construction industry-related or would ideally support a career path in the Post-frame Construction Industry
- Applicant personally prepares and submits a type-written essay describing in their own words their educational plan and how it relates to the industry. Applicants are encouraged to include any notable academic achievements, participation in extracurricular programs, clubs or service groups, and any special skills or experiences that will prepare them for their educational journey or intended career. Recommended length of essay: 500+ words
- Applicant submits 2 letters of recommendation
