Here’s what’s been trending on RoofersCoffeeShop® (RCS) this past June.

Building a positive company culture is no easy feat, especially when you work with family. One of our most-read articles from last month was a profile on Bryan and Vicky Pulliam by writer Dani Sheehan. Brian and Vicky are a married couple who both work at Tremco Roofing and Weatherproofing Technologies Incorporated (WTI). In this article, they discuss the great company culture at Tremco WTI and how being at the same company works well for them.

With temperatures rising more and more every day, so does the risk for heat-related illnesses. A popular article from last month was a piece on heat safety tips by John Kenney from Cotney Consulting Group. John outlines the different types of heat-related illnesses and safety practices your team can adopt to prevent injuries.

Our most-read article from last month was a press release highlighting the winner of Beacon’s 2024 North American Female Roofing Professional of the Year campaign. This year’s Grand Prize winner was Brooke Laizure, owner of Whirlwind Roofing & Construction. Brook is also a member of National Women in Roofing (NWIR), and she co-founded the NWIR Oklahoma Council in 2019.
