NWiR Signs Letter to White House Requesting Roofing be Recognized as Essential Business

Trade Association Page
April 8, 2020 at 7:52 p.m.

Editor's Note: This is an announcement from NWiR

Recent orders by state and local officials closing “non-essential” businesses have created confusion as to the impacts on the construction industry and manufacturers. In order to address this confusion, NWiR supported the NRCA and other roofing industry associations in sending the attached letter to the White House asking for the Federal government to provide clear guidance in order to avoid the negative business and economic impacts associated with closing the roofing industry.  Read the letter to the White House here.

– Ellen Thorp, Executive Director, NWiR
