The Midwest Roofing Contractors Association (MRCA) is preparing to launch its inaugural 2026 Leadership Summit, bringing roofing contractor leadership and decision makers for two days of education, vendor engagement and networking. This is a great place to build stronger industry connections and level up your knowledge.
The summit will take place November 18-19, 2026, at The Westin Cape Coral Resort at Marina Village in Florida. Schedule highlights include a membership meeting and awards luncheon, vendor tabletop time and a session on the benefits of MRCA membership. Most Leadership Summit activities will take place in the Tarpon Point Foyer and Ballroom unless otherwise noted.
The tabletop schowcase will feature products, services and innovations from manufacturers and suppliers. As for the education, sessions will cover everything from business growth and workforce leadership to market conditions. One session to look forward to is the one taught by Greg Bolt of 10X Roofing. Titled “From Roofer to Founder: Scaling Smart in a Consolidating Industry,” his session exploring the systems, processes, leadership principles and business strategies roofing owners need to scale successfully. Additionally, Dr. Richard Griff, CEO and president of Griff Psychological Associates will address mental health and leadership on the jobsite while Richard Branch, chief economist for The American Institute of Architects and former chief economist at Dodge Construction Network, will lead an economic update for construction.
Networking will also be central to the summit experience. Special events include the MRCA Golf Outing at Cape Royal Golf Club, the Summit Social and Foundation Auction and the Young Contractors Council Farewell Party with a “Miami Dice” casino night theme. The auction supports MRCA Foundation initiatives tied to scholarships, education and workforce development.
Contractor registration is listed at $995 per person and includes educational sessions, keynote, Foundation Auction Event and Dinner, Thursday meals, YCC Event and Farewell Dinner and networking. Hotel reservations are available through the MRCA room block, with an October 20, 2026 cutoff.
