Keep the Damage to a Minimum with Quality Inspections

Martin Stout Inspections

RCS Influencer Marty Stout says performing inspections at regular intervals is a great way to develop lasting customer relationships.

Inspections are a core part of our business. We believe that selling inspections is one of the very best ways to develop a long-term relationship with your customers. Building and residential unit owners need and want to better understand what the condition of the roof system is.

Inspecting at regular intervals keeps the information flow current and meaningful. What has changed, what needs to be addressed to extend the serviceable life of the roof. What damage has been done by service techs working on the variety of equipment that maybe on the roof. E.g., HVAC, grease fans, skylights, satellite dishes, etc.

Working with owners and property managers to develop a regular, scheduled, comprehensive and actionable report will ensure that roof damage and thus interior damage is greatly minimized.

Depending on the use of the structure this can be a very important to the occupant. If we are talking about a residence, you are providing peace of mind to the family, even the Bible writer King Solomon noted that a leaky roof is unpleasant.

If the structure is a building used for storage the damage to the contents can be very expensive.

If the structure is a manufacturing facility; lost production, lost product, machinery damage are among the problems that are possible.

Our strategy is to encourage all or our customers to inspect. We suggest and set up a schedule that is appropriate to the type of structure, type of roof system, location of the building, conditions that exist that may create problems. We track and remind or customers when the inspections are ready to schedule and quickly deliver the report. We work very hard to not oversell what needs to be done but work to earn the trust.
