Call for Applicants for the Western States Roofing Contractors Association Board of Directors

WSRCA members are encouraged to apply to be a Director by April 15, 2017

The Western States Roofing Contractors Association is looking for industry leaders to help shape the roofing industry in the Western US in the coming years. Contractor members in good standing are encouraged to consider applying to, what is becoming, one of the elite organizations in the entire country. As a Director on the Board, you can help shape the future of the roofing industry here in the West and be involved at the most progressive and respected activities offered by any association...from start to finish. In applying for this prestigious position, you would have the opportunity to give back to this great industry that has done so much for you and your company.

Additionally as a member of the Board of Directors of WSRCA, you will gain recognition for your hard work, and could lead to even greater prestige among your peers than you may currently have. Active volunteerism is the key to any successful organization. As a director for WSRCA, you would gain an insider’s knowledge of the Association and how it helps the industry, both collectively and individually. As a Director, you will learn new skills and acquire new knowledge that may help you advance professionally and personally.

Eligibility, Terms and Meetings:

• In accordance with the Bylaws, Contractor Members in good standing (for at least 1 year) are the only members eligible for appointment to the Board of Directors.
• As a Director on the Board or Committee Member, you will be elected to a three-year term.
• Meetings of the Board are held in the Summer (August/September) and the Winter (January/February) and are located in the western region which the WSRCA represents. There is a formal reimbursement policy for official business at Board meetings, which start on Wednesday and conclude on Saturday.
• An abbreviated Board of Directors meeting is also held at the annual convention, the Western Roofing Expo, for purposes of convention and various association matters.
