copper, i have experimented with making the seams smaller but need a custom iron to get through the sweep. someday!

Thats a European style or look. A bit bulky in my opinion but nice work all the same. When ever you can fold instead of cutting is better any day of the week.

here is the same type of seam intersecting slate siding. the lap siding just notches the standing part and fully laps the flattened part of the seam. you usually get about 1.5-3" exposure on the wall portion of the pans with this tall seam

It's about 3" of full lap, then the seam comes through the siding. I've got some finished pics intersecting into slate siding I'll show them
