In this RLW, Heidi J. Ellsworth sits down with Jennifer Ford-Smith of Johns Manville and John Esbenshade of NRCA to talk about their recent participation in the national SkillsUSA competition. This amazing event brings CTE vocational schools and students from around the country to a competition for every aspect of vocational school education. With the first commercial roofing competition held in June 2023, the roofing industry joins this 50-year-old competition that now has roofing as one of many important trade competitions.
